Root canal treatment removes infected pulp from inside the tooth, cleans and disinfects the root canals, then seals them to prevent reinfection. Despite their reputation, modern root canals are no more uncomfortable than getting a filling, thanks to advanced anesthesia and techniques. We use rotary endodontics and digital imaging to ensure thorough cleaning and precise treatment. Most root canals can be completed in one or two visits, immediately relieving the severe pain caused by infection. After root canal treatment, the tooth is typically restored with a crown to protect it and restore full function. Our success rate exceeds 95%, and treated teeth can last a lifetime with proper care.
