Margaret Mauricio, DDS

Margaret Mauricio, DDS, is an expert general dentist at Smiles Tampa, providing complete oral health care to teens and adults in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Mauricio accepts most dental insurance plans and is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Mauricio brings more than three decades of experience to the practice. She studied at Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Florida, earning an Associate of Science in dental hygiene. Following a few years of work as a dental hygienist, Dr. Mauricio enrolled at Loyola University of Chicago in Illinois and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

At Smiles Tampa, Dr. Mauricio provides an array of dental services to adolescents and adults, including preventive oral exams, periodontal (gum) disease evaluations, and dentures. 

However, her true passion is in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Mauricio regularly creates beautiful and symmetrical smiles with crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, inlays, and onlays. She also provides surgical cosmetic extractions and in-office teeth whitening with Philips Zoom!

When she isn’t working, Dr. Mauricio enjoys honing her professional skills. She’s also passionate about educating dentists in training and has served as a clinical instructor in dental hygiene at Concorde Career Institute in Tampa.
